With the school year 2014-2015 the School enters its third year. The school hosts a third year class, a second year class, and two first year classes, making a total of 68 students between13 and 16 years of age.
Most of the students are from Brescia and the surrounding area, two are from other regions of Italy, while two come from countries non-European countries (Korea and Japan).
Their educational courses vary according to the number hours devoted to the second language (some opt for additional tutition in German, others in Spanish, and still others in English), and their chosen option for the last two years (classical, scientific, or socio-economic). Four students – one first year and three third years – have chosen to study Greek.
Depending on individual choices, we also assist our students in obtaining the following language competence certifications:
– B2 level in English for second year classes
– From A2 (first year) to B1 (second year) in the second foreign language.
Our sudents’ average results range from good to very good, but we also provide additional afternoon tuition for those who get into difficulty, from the beginning of the school year.
During the school year, one week will be dedicated to activities designed to provide targeted support for those who need to reinforce specific skills/knowledge.
